CA trophy holders asked to notify the office on return arrangements

25th March 2004 (CqE Official News)

Can I ask all holders of CA trophies to consider how they are to be returned to the custody of the CA for engraving etc. I can collect trophies at the following events:

Pendle 9-12 April
Hurlingham 1-3 May
Surbiton (Peels) 6-9 May
Inter-Counties at Southwick and Compton 29 May-1 June

More generally, I can collect items left in the care of Surbiton or Cheltenham Croquet Clubs at any time, but please tell me that they are there. Last year a number of items remained hidden in a cupboard at Cheltenham for months.

Strictly according to the book all items should be returned to the CA Office by 1 April. I do not insist on this, but I should like to hear from all current holders of trophies how they intend to return them.

Nigel Graves
Secretary
