The WCF have now released details of the 8th Golf Croquet World Championship, which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa 8-16th March 2008. England has been awarded six places of right plus an individual invitation to Stephen Mulliner who was a semi-finalist in the 2006 event.
The closing date for nominations is presently 20 Aug 2007. We will also submit a further list of names for wild card consideration by the WCF
To allow the Selectors sufficient time for their deliberations, I would ask that all players who are qualified to play for England and wish to be considered to register their availability by 1 Aug 2007. Registration may be through the members' area on this web site or by email or post to the Chairman of GC Selectors. I remind all selected players that all their travel and hotel costs must be met by themselves and a £60 entry fee will be required by the WCF.
