John Solomon taken ill

John Solomon collapsed with a massive heart attack more than two weeks ago whilst acting in an amateur production in Arundel. He was resuscitated at the scene by nurses in the audience, and was taken to Chichester Hospital. He has since been transferred to Southampton General Hospital where there is a major cardiac facility.

His wife, Barbara, said that John is stable, ambulant, and alert. He has had a couple of angiograms and they are considering fitting a defibrillator.
