Surplus mallet handles on offer

I have ten handles (some unused, some used) that I am prepared to release to clubs, so that they can add them to heads that have had broken or unusable handles. The reason I am disposing of them is that I now use a taper shape to fit in the head and these handles cannot be adapted.

I found that when you drill a 20mm hole in a head it can be sometimes be 19.95 and other times 20.05, making it necessary to make the nylon fit to very close tolerances. It is not possible to guarantee that one handle will fit another head properly. The taper fit makes that possible. The handles have therefore about 20mm diameter nylon at the bottom with an M5 thread in it.

The handles can be made to fit in a 20mm hole in the head, either by gluing them in, or by a tight fit (by luck or fudging) and a screw. One of the handles is .75" (19.05mm) and is just aluminium tubing with a nylon insert.

I want the handles to go to clubs, rather than individuals and I would like a donation of £8 for each one. If an individual wants one then I think that around £30 is in order. The lengths will produce mallet heights of 32" to 37". There are 1x32, 5x34, 2x35, 1x36, 1x37. To save postage and effort I would propose to hand them over at the Counties to whoever is available from a club. If more are required than are available I'll work out who gets what. Let me know if your club is interested.
