Result - Ealing 6 Surbiton 0 (with one rubber left unfinished at 1-1)

Short report - Ealing were pleased to host a Surbiton team for a Second Round match in this new competition. Although the overall result looks rather one-sided, with Ealing not conceding even a single game in the six completed rubbers, the individual games were mostly much closer, with only one of the fourteen games being decided before hoop 10. The match was played in a friendly and sporting spirit throughout, and Ealing's burgeoning reputation for lunch-time hospitality was given a further boost by Jane's superb pavlova dessert !
