Nailsea Advanced Play Weekend - Results

[<<] [>>] by Peter Dyke
21-22 Jun 2003 (AC)

16 entries, handicap range -1.5 to 6 (9 competitors 0.5 and below, the remaining 7 were 2 and above), format: Egyptian

Ground very hard. Hoops set at 1/16" and were firm and unforgiving. Surprisingly eight out of the 42 games went to time (3.25 hours) with many others lasting around 3 hours. Only four players managed to complete six games over the weekend (in previous years some players have completed eight games) and Marcus Evans completed the only TP. The winner was Richard White who narrowly beat Nottingham club-mate Jed Allen in the final round, having pegged out Jed's forward ball.
